If you want to take up the cudgel for a tyrannical regime, you should head out to Afghanistan, and join the Taliban. They too are a bunch of killjoys who wish to tell everyone what to think, and deny personal freedom of expression and free-thought.
And as for insulting a girl who only wants to improve herself... You sound like a really nasty piece of work!
References :
Here's an idea:
If you are a parent, monitor your dumb kids.If you put "child lock" on the TV via a chip, the internet via password controlled access to some sites(all the servers have them in place), look for edited CDs(Walmart and Target has them), then I and other like minded people like me won't have to run into posts like this.

Hear of the dumb teen who tricked her parents into getting her a plane ticket to go visit some dude she never met? That's how dumb teens are and if something had happened to her, noone would have remembered that she lied to and tricked her parents. So while you're campaigning for the cleanup of the media, also acknowledge that the teens are at fault. They have a choice: on Tv,flip the channel: there's still Disney and Cartoon and Nick. On the internet, stick to the safe sites: Yahoo and MSN has everything from games to email and chat. The same goes for advertising. WE NEED TO PREPARE KIDS FOR THE REAL WORLD AND LET THEM TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR STUPIDITY AND ACTIONS
References :
kiddo, how do you know abt whitehouse if you didn't go there .if you were looking for the US white house address,it would be gov or you should have googled it.Again it also comes down to parents and teens' faults

I agree with your post but I must say that spiritual and moral training must begin at a very early young age in the home. Today, society is taking God from everything (Did you hear about the valedictorian in Colorado who said 'I thank God" and all of a sudden she was cut off in her speech) about 2 weeks ago. Everything has become disposable, children - don't want them then abort them.....Families - break up and divorce....Moral Values - what you think is right is okay....the old "I'm okay your okay" idea....We can't blame all the youth because the "So-called" adults of our society started all this and then now we are reaping the consequences of our actions with a valuless and moraless generation with respect for no one, no respect for others who think differently. I do have much hope though because there are a number of good groups and organizations trying to turn this around, beginning in our legislature with the laws we are passing and those groups working diligently to put families back together and stop abortions and euthanasia. God will win in the end...I have no doubt of that but in the meantime, those of us who care need to get involved and do our part.
References :
Oh please! cry me a freaking river! You talk about all these ALARMING stats, really that is just average. If you were to look at those figures, you're forgetting about outings, which If I remember correctly, I had a better time going to the mall, going with my friends and so on. I know that's normal teenage stuff.

Also, you're totally taking for granted the fact that these teenagers didn't come out of thin air, there are these things called "Parents" where in the heck are your equations about them? Don't you think they also should make a difference in what their children see? regardless of age? Where is the discipline that these children so much crave? You're making parents parasites. I know they have to work long hours and such, but they manage to do something. If a parent is not aware what their children are doing, watching, and so on, then that parents is in some kind of trouble. The biggest mistake this generation is doing is allowing the television to be the parent, the entertainer.

You can either behind parental flaws behind television, or advocate for more parental discretion.
References :
Every generation has had the same thing said about them. What we think of as older people music used to be horrible and rebelious, now we think it's tame.
People are always saying we've lost our values, but if they're ALWAYS saying that, how can that be the case?
Teens are teens, and parents and religious leaders are always going to be freaked out about the latest trends.
Twenty years from now they're going to be all sentimental for how good things were NOW, people are always afraid of the new.
References :
I'd have to say you're a level headed kid. Battlecry is a good organization. The work to save a lot of souls. I've spoken with some of their admin people in the past. They're genuinely good people with the right message. Stick to your guns there, soldier. You're way ahead of the status quo.
References :
who thinks this is to much?
ATTACK ON A GENERATION
Today's teens are being attacked by popular culture like no other generation. Hollywood, the music industry, advertisers, and even the mainstream media are using their arsenal of tools to win the battle for our teens' hearts- and so far they are winning! In order to defeat our enemy, we must know how it thinks and understand the weapons it uses. It is critical that we realize how far-reaching the crisis is- and then we must work together to stop it.

TELEVISION
This generation views 16 to 17 hours of television each week and sees on average 14,000 sexual scenes and references each year. That's more than 38 references every day.

INTERNET
This generation spends three hours a day online and is the first to grow up with point-and-click pornography. Almost 90 percent of teens have viewed pornography online at one of the 300,000 adult websites, most while doing homework.

MUSIC
More than 25 percent of teen-targeted radio segments contain sexual content; 42 percent of the top selling CDs contain sexual content

ADVERTISING
With more than $128 billion dollars in their pockets, this generation has been targeted by corporate America, who does everything it can to grow brands and profits without any regard to the moral decay of a generation.
