Insert, shoe or sock to keep feet very, VERY cool?
I have a problem with my feet being too hot. It really interferes with my overall comfort and it makes being at work and doing things around the home difficult.
Whenever I’m not moving (and I can get away with it) I kick my shoes off. As it is, I already wear a pair of well-vented New Balance runners, and I also have a pair of runners that are not unlike sandals.
I usually wear small, lightweight socks with them as they tend to feel worse if I don’t wear socks in them.
At work I can get away with the runners-like-sandals, but we can’t wear outright sandals…we need the feet to me mainly enclosed.
I desperately need something that I can do WHILE ACTIVE…sitting the feet in cool water isn’t an option except when I’m at home (and then I still can’t be *active*).
I’ve tried baby powders, as well as powders that have mint or menthol that supposed help keep feet cool (they often make them feel hotter!). I’ve heard of putting insoles in the fridge, but that keeps them cool in the shoe for only a few minutes.
I’m willing to pay GOOD MONEY for something that WORKS. Think "work outdoor in the desert all day" kind of pro-active cooling.
I don’t think socks that "wick away" are strong enough for my needs.
I need something UNIQUE — maybe something heavy labourers or military people know about but the rest of us don’t!
One site recommending these shoes, but they’re pretty much like what I have already.

the socks that will solve your problem are made by under armour. well worth the extra 2 dollars a pair. they are light very comfortable. the material used will also keep your feet warm in the winter . the other option uncomfortable for a period of time, expensive are diabetic socks. very very tight . not comfortable at all. miss i am not trying to scare you with diabetes, you have no worries your symptoms would be just the opposite. defiantly under armour sport socks will work. sporting goods store. .they just work. vast majority of people do not understand how important healthy comfortable feet really are to health. you will be fine with these . sleep better at night also. god luck
